In his words: What led him to start this program

"During a recent visit to India, I observed significant changes over the past decade. However, one pressing issue that has escalated is pollution, particularly the improper disposal of materials like batteries. While there, my son and I viewed a press note from Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan https://youtu.be/S1QAhWfSwSg?t=259 addressing environmental concerns, including the critical issue of improper battery disposal. This resonated deeply with us, aligning with our commitment to environmental sustainability. Motivated by middle school kids, initiated a battery recycling project through recognizing young kids on environment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9F0HbiGLM9s , Inspired by their programes, we aim to expand this model to India, leading to the creation of jsawards.org."
